As for our tropical vacation in the Caribbean, just one photo for you to see where we left after eight lovely nights. Our view was grand and so were the many walks and strolls through the huge botanical gardens of the Hyatt Regency's 27 acres or 10.9 hectares property. Santa Barbara Beach & Golf Resort Curaçao ←(click it) is a gem on the south side of the island, hurricane free and only 35 miles north of Venezuela. Next month it will have its 2nd birthday. We both were in Curacao, in August of 1988 so that was a long lapse of time.
Every day it was 29°C with 24°C night temperature or 84°F - 75°F.
Great for swimming in one of the many pools.
We had showers during the first nights and that made the gardens extra lush.
For the rest it was very pleasant due to the wind and some clouds.
The last night there was a wedding on the beach...

Sure enough this piece of jewelry has traveled a long time to reach its destiny but it looks like the guardian angel took care of itself!
