{27 Happy Years Together!}

Today is a very special day!
Two    ♥♥
 Got united by civil marriage...
  And lived happily forever after...
So grateful for being still together, and in good health after Pieter's open heart surgery!

    Hi Mariette - Happy Anniversary to you two!!! My husband and I are working on our 23rd.

    Thanks for your lovely comments on my blog. Actually, to be completely accurate, the man mentioned in my post is officially my step father, although he raised me as his own for half of my childhood and I love him as such (and we never ever used the word "step"). Not to detract from my biological father, who is British, and whom I also love with every ounce of my heart. I refer to both of these wonderful men as "Dad". With that said, my mother has Italian blood running through her veins, so yes, I do as well. And yes, we are a very loud bunch, filled with a lot of laughter... and hand gestures. Have a great weekend!!
