After a very sad week we received HAPPY NEWS on August 25! First we congratulated Pieter's Goddaughter Myriam on her birthday. She and her partner Toine were almost too busy for having a birthday... Their 9th annual Garden Fair (negende Tuinfair) at De Gaerde in Wouwse Plantage, Brabant in The Netherlands, is on Sunday, August 26 from 10:00 - 17:00 o'clock. Those in The Netherlands that are living within driving distance are in for a special treat! Wish we could go...
And there was more HAPPY NEWS!
Yes, like in nature, life is constantly renewing itself. Leaves change to fall color.
Seeds, such as here on the Dogwood tree are ripening...
But we know there will be new life in the SPRING.

AND on August 25, our Goddaughter Elvira delivered her baby-boy STEF into the world!
