On June 15, Pieter did make a beautiful photo of our Hibiscus 'Kona' a Hibiscus rosa-sinensis hybrid that produced this year's first bloom.
We do have this beauty for years already and it goes inside the greenhouse during the winter.
Ours came from +Logee's Greenhouses and they still have this Hibiscus 'Kona' (Hibiscus rosa-sinensis hybrid) ←just click it.
But for being able to make more photos, I did wait in vain... On July 10, there was one floppy looking big bloom. So below I show you photos from August, 2010.
Color looks different here as well... could be camera related?

What a beauty! Not the typical hibiscus I have image in my mind, but it sure has got this tropical look :-) The petals look very soft and warm. I do hope you get more blooms!
