Wow... since I published that post about my Apple Addiction, we lost completely our Internet connection.
What a fate, not being able to do anything for some 24 hours!
But today it got repaired, there was a kink in the cable that entered the home and we got a replacement.
SO HAPPY!
Tonight I prepared a very simple but delicious recipe from dear friend Celia M.'s Resilientista in the Kitchen.
DRUNKEN SPAGHETTI...
Yes, this pasta got cooked in red wine!
TRY IT!

It was really delicious, topped with grated Pecorino cheese from Trader Joe's and paired with arugula and an olive and white balsamic dressing.
The spaghetti I used was Quinoa and we both loved its taste!
Above link from Resilientista gives you the link to the recipe.
Thanks again Celia M. from Celia M. High Heeled Life - Resilientista; you always have such very special recipes to share with your readers.
So happy you gave it a try!! It looks fabulous !! Enjoy my friend. Thank you for the shout out. Blessings XO Celia
ReplyDeleteThis sounds delicious and is very pretty on the plate, too, dear Mariette! Hope all is well. Hugs xo Karen
ReplyDeleteHello Mariette, Looks delicious, and what a beautiful color. In the U.S. most pre-colored pasta is made with tomato, spinach, etc., but over here it is made with chemical colorings, so I avoid it.

Cara Mariette,
ReplyDeletepresenti un piatto delizioso proprio in vista delle feste. La cottura nel vino rende questi spaghetti non solo di un colore splendido, ma di un gusto inconfondibile.
Buon Natale,
V.
Looks like a great recipe. We use Romano Pecorino all the time. It is surely one of the most underrated of Italian cheeses, at least here in North America. We eat as an appetizer and also use it to grate on pasta the moment before you eat it. A little cheese, a little wine, a little pasta - that's how you spell heaven!
ReplyDeleteYes, I will try it! As I am a really great fan of pasta I absolutely have to try this recipe with the drunken spaghetti. In combination with some rucola and parmesan a perfect plate. Tricolore.
ReplyDeleteThank you for this piatto stupendo!
Best
Dani
