Here I would love to share with you our travels and adventures as international mushroom consultants. MEMOIRS about husband Pieter Vedder, who was a SCIENTIFIC PIONEER in Commercial Mushroom Cultivation Education. Dearest Mariette, What a gorgeous lily. It looks like you have quite a variety this year. My lilium lilies did not do well this year due to red beetle, a new voracious bug to me. However my day lilies are wonderful. Enjoy your day.........*s*
Wow, what a beautiful blossom! It's gorgeous and its color really stands out! I love the white edges, too. It's such a great companion when you have a nice cup of green tea :-)

What a beautiful lily. Very striking. I noticed the hummingbird feeder outside your window. Do you get many? Are they the ruby-throated hummingbird? I love to watch ours, but have to be sure and change out their food every other day in this heat!! Hope you and Pieter are doing well. xo Deborah
Dearest Deborah, Yes, we do see our hummingbirds regularly and it is the ruby-throated variety indeed. We used to have a lot more of them years back but now among the different feeders that we hung, it is never that crowded. Just love watching them at breakfast time, right at our bay window. We also can see them come to the feeder at the dogwood tree. Yes, we both are doing well, the painters have started today, finally doing our staircase area after a long wait! Hugs, Mariette
