As promised in my previous post, here are the flowers of our very special Magnolia Grandiflora 'Namnetensis Flore Pleno', that are also Fragrant!
Flowers are HUGE!
Here is a Bud developing...
You can see our home in the back, through the branches.
They still are blooming right now!
I literally did walk all around our huge tree as flowers are everywhere.
Not always at a level where you can easily reach them with your camera...
Below this post I added the link: {Our Bee Happy Magnolia Restaurant} - that still proves valid.
Snacking on the pollen!
Hope you enjoyed these photos and thank you for your visit.

ReplyDeleteDear Mariette - your Magnolia Grandiflora tree is a magnificent specimen - I love it's large beautiful waxy flowers that fill the air with fragrance.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous. I love Magnolias. They are my birth state flower after all. I had a lovely faux magnolia made from white balloons stretched over wire that I bought at a craft fair years ago. Unfortunately, had to get rid of it as in this climate, it became so dusty and grimy looking that I just couldn't get it clean.
