Just like to show you a Winter View from Our Gazebo, taken from the Kitchen Bay Window Area. These photos are from January 20 when we did make the rounds over our estate. Our felines Tiggy Tiger (l) and her brother Bandido (r) did follow us.
The sunlight makes it look already like spring.
Storm door is from Vintage Woodworks and also the Fleur de Lys and Scroll Work.
Having breakfast in our Bay Window Area always gives us a nice view of the garden from its three windows.
The Ilex Opaca or American Holly tree is visible behind the wooden railings of the steps.
We do have enough evergreen shrubs and trees on our property to help us always feel happy.
Having lived in the tropics, in Indonesia does make us long for more green during winter time...
How is your winter going?

really pretty yard, mariette. :)
ReplyDeletelove the bay window and the evergreens. Living in the South we get mild(er) Winters...but still there is not much green going on nowdays :)
ReplyDeleteDear Mariette, your view is very pretty - I love the beautiful door and trim in the eaves over the doorway, and your lovely gazebo. Very pretty garden, too. How sweet that your kitties follow you around - mine do the same whenever I am outside. They love to have company and always curious about what we are doing. Our winter is very mild this year - very little snow - but always clouds and mist and light rain now and again. I can't complain. Thank you for sharing your lovely view with us! Hugs, xoxo

Being surrounded by nature is a wonderful thing. I do miss having so much greenery so am happy to have the potted plants on our balconies. I don't know how anyone can live in an apartment with no access to a green space at all. Jingles needs to go outside too -- she doesn't have the yard like your kitties do, but at least she can enjoy the sounds of the birdies and relax outdoors without fearing for her life .. ha! She's a big scaredy cat for sure. Best wishes, Tammy
