Oh, those spoiled stinkers of kitties, what a life they have!
This is from April 5, all four of them lounging on their leopard blankies on top of our guest beds.
One would wish to be a pet like that!
Carefree nappy time after breakfast...
Bandido on the bottom, Barty on the other bed and Bandido's tiny sister Tiggy-Tiger at the foot end on an extra blanky!
Speckie girl claims the other soft blanky on the oak chest near the window for watching the front yard and the road.
Tiggy-Tiger loves to curl up when sleeping!
Barty boy, our most senior at the age of 14. He got white whiskers on one side...
They sure have a GOOD life!
But they are oh so loved.
Around 11:00 AM I call them all downstairs for their brushies. Combing their hair and then brushing it. Barty HATES it but he takes the bribes and lets me do some minimal combing + brushing.
Speckie loves to EAT so she lets me do a lot more.
Spunky girl, her brothers Spooky and Bandido LOVE it and so does Tiggy-Tiger.
They are all so very easy.
Don't we all love our furry family members?!

They are beautiful Mariette! Just with my cats they are lucky to have such loving human parents.
ReplyDeleteMine love to be brushed, but Fluffy likes it most and when the other two climb on the outdoor table to be brushed he hits them so he can carry on being brushed :)

DeleteOh, yours are equally lucky for having loving human parents! It is so funny to see the different characters, just like with humans. At times it can be hilarious but they sure give so much of love and loyalty to their human parents!

ReplyDeleteAs you have probably figured out by now, I am a complete pushover for cats. Of course we spoil them. How could we resist?
Your cover looks a lot like the one I use on my bed. Great minds?
My kitties all love the brushes, especially Ringo. This is a good thing because he would be covered in mats and dreadlocks if I culdn’t brush him every day
You Tiggy-Tiger looks a lot like my Aloysius, but at twelve pounds he probably out weighs her by a good bit.
Our biggest kitty, Sir Ringo about fifteen pounds, and Grayby at under five, (She weighs less than a 5lb bag of flour) are from the same littler, obviously with different daddies,
And of course there is Winterpup, who thinks she might be a cat. She and Aloysius weighed the same when we brought her home. He immediately started washing and caring for her.
Such daily small pleasures all our furbies give us.

We don't have any heavy weight cats except our Speckie she weighs around 12 lb I guess. Our Tiggy-Tiger is around 6 pounds, she is way too hyper for ever gaining much.
Yeah, even siblings can be totally different and it is possible that the different daddy factor weighs in.
Indeed, those are small daily pleasures we can warm up to!
The weather here is still sunny and warm; great for riding our bikes through the fields...

ReplyDeleteGoro is not a big fun of brushies. When he reaches his limit, he stops me by grabbing my hand in his mouth :-) Niko is a little more patient with brushies.

DeleteThey are a very sweet bunch and so easy going. All of them would LOVE more brushies but if you have six, it is not always feasible. Yeah, at times I'm just jealous when looking at their relaxed life style! They teach us many lessons though... for great food digestion they always take naps!
