Wow, Mariette, this was so interesting! I am ashamed to say that I never knew the Pilgrims came from The Netherlands to the New World. I thought they came straight from England! See, one learns something new every day. Very interesting stuff. And I can't believe the George Bushes and President Obama are descendants too! Thanks for sharing with us!

Mia cara Mariette, spero non rimarrai sorpresa nel sapere che anch'io festeggwrò Thanksgiving...con un po di ritardo visto che abbiamo programmato di festeggiare questo evento domenica con la mia amica americana Diana...é riuscita a procurarsi tutti gli ingredienti per poter cucinare in maniera tipica a Roma, dove esiste un grosso centro specializzato in american food....Happy belated Thanksgiving!!!!
