Okay, there are 5 more Angel - Putto heads to be shown here. Four from Italy, all from the South Tyrol region and one is from Germany, Oberammergau. Again, solid wood is being used such as Linden; Maple and Cendia Pine. Quite understandable for the South Tyrol, Italy region and also the Oberammergau Germany region with their long winters and lots of snow, this is a great job for killing their time. The results are fabulous as they've passed on those skills from generation to generation since the 1700s. We can only admire their talents for creating such lovely pieces that we can keep as heirlooms for decades if not longer. All are available at my Zen Cart powered on line boutique Mariette's Back to Basics.
