Here I would love to share with you our travels and adventures as international mushroom consultants. {How Blogs Work}

How blogs work: Just had to share this with you as it is so TRUE!
It is hard for producing your own original content, your own photos and doing your own styling.
Yet there are so many out there that are showing off someone else's feathers.
Plagiarism seems to become the norm. How do you feel about this?
Do you share mostly original content on your blog or things created by others?

  1. kind of funny. since i don't blog for decorating or design or even crafts, i do all my own photo and prose content. still, i have had some of my photos stolen and re-posted by a blogger as their own. it will happen.

  2. Hi Mariette, Well, I do all my own photos and features from my artwork, decorating and tutorials. Very seldom to I ever share a picture unless it goes along with a graphic that is free to use.
However, I have found my pics on other sites just as sharing pics and those were taken without permission. It does happen and very hard to police this. If you find it, you can ask them to remove the content. If not, then you have terms for action. This is why it is important to watermark your pics before posting. It all takes time, but helpful.
Have a great night my friend and thank you for stopping by.
I hope you don't get our bad weather your way. It is still mighty cold here.
    Hugs, Celestina Marie

    Johanna

Great Point!,Until this time being I use my own photos captured by my amateur camera ;) and handmade made by my own hand ;). unfortunately it always happen on blogs world. 14. Dear Mariette,

Great post and thanks for sharing this - I mostly use my own photographs and now and again if I have an old vintage picture or something that is too good not to share, if it fits in with my post.
I have heard some blogs are being copied word for word with pictures, which is totally unfair.
    Have a happy weekend
    hugs
    Carolyn

    Love to all,

  16. Thank you for sharing this. As a writer, I feel that my work is myself. I hope that people respect others' work, but I suppose if we want our work to be read, we have to take the risk. <3
