{Sarasota, Florida - Hyatt Regency}

On May 1, we were at the Hyatt Regency in Sarasota, Florida. We had been there once before but loved to go back to this place.
Love the exotic surroundings here at the Gulf of Mexico where this Hyatt Regency Sarasota is located.
Husband Pieter in the back of the hotel where you even can dock your own boat or yacht.
King Size bed with pillow top and down duvet at all Hyatt hotels, makes us feel at home!
Husband Pieter made a tea for me and a coffee for himself, after my drive from Orlando where we stayed at the Hyatt Place Orlando/ Universal which we can reach in about 6 hours driving from home.
That feels relaxed and even though it is windy, the balcony offers such a great view of Sarasota Bay...
At our previous stay we were informed that this is a Hyatt hotel where you could dock your own yacht in the back... you can reach it IF you have one!
View from balcony
Parking for the hotel is in the back of the hotel, you can see the cars under the palm trees.
Restaurant is right next to the dock.
This is the path that we walked alongside Sarasota Bay...
Will show you more next!
Have you been to Sarasota, Florida?
We will be back for another time; using some of our Hyatt Points for more free nights.

      Liefs,
      Mariette

  9. This is such a lovely hotel! I would love to visit there on my own boat if I had one :-)
Love the balcony and the view from your room!
I have been to Sarasota long long time ago. I don't remember if I stayed overnight or not though. Been to Sanibel Island and Naples, too. I don't think these places were too far from Sarasota. Again, long long time ago :-) Would love to visit again!

  14. What a lovely view, Mariette - and such a close drive, too. One of my favorite beaches in the world is Pensacola, Florida with its perfectly white sand and turquoise water. I need to go again - it has been years! xo

    1. Dearest Miyako,
Oh, Florida sure has a lot to visit for visitors.
No, I cannot complain, my husband Pieter can make coffee or tea very well and he willingly does so after I've done the driving in heavy traffic. Maybe that's why you never got served...?
Hugs and love back to my virtual Japanese friend.

    2. Hi, I think he is a typical Japanese man (like my late father). Household work is for us ladies p;) And I am also grown up in that kind of atmosphere. Your husband is thoughtful thinking how you might be tired ♪♪♪ My husband is kind in different way; no hesitation for driving me places and I can depend on him for official procedures (*^_^*)
Hugs to my Dearest Friend in America, xoxo Miyako*
