We certainly had a VERY GOOD reason for celebrating with a delicious dinner at Ristorante da Maria!
Lady Chef Maria Runggaldier as published in: 5 FIERCE FEMALE GEORGIA CHEFS YOU SHOULD KNOW←click link
On Saturday, June 25th we both went out for dinner...
We were so engaged in conversation that I FORGOT to capture the Appetizer and already had eaten a few bites from the First dish: Summer Lasagnette with mozzarella, tomatoes and basil pesto, topped with Parmesan and fresh basil leaves.
As always we both opt for the healthy living and select Seafood–Entrée:
Scallops and Shrimp over a light "putanesca" sauce with butter, cherry tomatoes, capers, green olives, garlic and fresh parsley.
Maria had potatoes with French beans and breaded egg plant with it.
Pioneer Pieter sure deserved such a great 5–course meal; he'd lost some weight doing such a Mega Task for weeks on end.
Happy to be together!
Wearing my Escada skirt and twinset.
Sorbet:
Pineapple/Lemon Sorbet
Dessert:
Semifreddo Parfait
Half frozen Moscato/amaretto Parfait with merengue, served with fresh berries over strawberry coulis.

It was heavenly—as always at Ristorante da Maria
Looks you both enjoyed a really lovely dinner. Pieter is looking quite dapper in that suit.
ReplyDeleteDearest Tammy,
DeleteYes, we did, as always at Ristorante da Maria as she is such a great Lady Chef!
Being safely back home from my final flight, was sure something to celebrate together.
Pieter lost some weight, doing so much outdoor work but this suit is really looking great on him, in his squirrel tie. An outlet score!
Hugs,
Mariette
Conversation makes you healthier.
ReplyDeleteDearest RTC,
DeleteYes, they sure do as we have to keep our body and soul in balance!

ReplyDeleteDearest Anne,
DeleteIt always is at Ristorante da Maria!

Abrazos,
Mariette
It looks pretty delicious. And you guys look great.

rssssss, achei o máximo, desde os camarões à sobremesa!
ReplyDeleteClaro que a gente fica com água na boca...
Adorei ver o casal muitíssimo feliz e simpático, as fotos, o lindo jardim...
Mariette
Not sure what you are referring to along I 40….especially since the interstate does not go through Texas….are these what you are talking about
ReplyDeletehttps://slate.com/culture/2012/06/strange-white-cones-out-in-fields-what-are-they.html
Dearest Janey,
DeleteYes, I-40 is passing through the panhandle of Texas, through Amarillo.
Your link shows a conical piece, that is not what I meant.
Guess they are the remains of Amarillo’s Federal Helium Reserve: https://www.hppr.org/hppr-economy-and-enterprise/2013-09-27/amarillo-facility-avoids-the-helium-cliff
