We again had a lovely breakfast at Jenny Lake Lodge Dining Room.
Now it was time for getting on the road again!
Bye bye Grand Tetons as we started out at 8:30 with perfect light on those majestic mountains!
Going to the bathroom at 4:06, I made this screenshot to show how cool it gets throughout the nights!
Only 8°C or 46°F!
Another lovely day awaited those that stay near Jackson...
We were heading south and then eastwards.
Perfect morning light...
Such a dream!
At 8:52 we viewed these pronghorn antelopes! Just alongside the road...
I managed to quickly capture them; not a perfect photo but it was so precious.
A little while later on our right we spotted even more of them.

How amazing that they can run as fast as 65 miles or 104.6 kilometer per hour!
At 11:06 gassing up and a human pit stop...
Country Lane Groceries and Gas in Pinedale, Wyoming, which makes sense with those huge distances!
We were going south on Highway 191, towards Rock Springs.
At 13:34 another human pit–stop and I captured this information board about Wyoming's Wildlife
MAMA SAGE
The rolling sage–covered Wyoming hills.
Sagebrush, the shrub that means survival to the world's largest population of pronghorn antelope and sage grouse.
400 Miles to Cross: The Interstate 80 Wildlife Barrier ←informative video of where I drove—in summertime though!
At 16:34 we saw the sign: Welcome to Colorful COLORADO
We got sent by GPS on a toll road, bypassing Denver, CO which is smart in one way but not for us, as we'd run low on gas... There were NO exits.
Before, on Interstate 25 South there was only one lane, due to roadwork and heavy congestion, so I did not dare to get off and never being able to get back on...
Our ONLY critical time but we found one, after getting off the toll road and asking a very friendly Latino guy that stood next to a heavy equipment vehicle.
He pointed me directly around the corner to a Walmart Supercenter with gas station!
While Pieter went for a human pit stop, I handled the gas station, to feed our loyal Infiniti QX50.

Stay tuned for more...
A VERY long drive from West of Wyoming to Colorado Springs, Colorado...
Enjoy this 2 minute Relive video from my LONGEST DRIVE, at least for this trip.
Previously I've driven solo from work in the Bremen, Germany region, via a night at my Parents' in The Netherlands, back to our home in Cornuda, Italy. That was a 17–hour drive due to a truck strike at the Brenner Pass in Austria and sitting there for 5 hours.
The WORST ever experience and all by myself, in my Ford Escort.
It was about the same distance as I drove today through Wyoming into Colorado; compared to my trip to Italy from The Netherlands that is.
