{Early 1900s Antique French Tablecloth in Crocheted Roses}

For a very elegant table setting you could use this antique French tablecloth from the early 1900s. It is painstakingly hand crocheted in a rose pattern from a high quality all cotton thread. Done in a very nice champagne color, pictures are made a bit lighter. This cloth will work fine on any dark wooden table or with a solid red or green tablecloth underneath for creating a completely different look. {20th Century French Limoges Pill Box/Etui Nécessaire with Ormolu - Gilt-Metal}

Today I like to introduce you to a lovely, hand painted 20th century French porcelain Limoges pill box or Etui Nécessaire with Ormolu - gilt-metal. The hinged lid is beautiful decorated with an ormolu (gilt-metal) flower on the front. It reads on the bottom: Peint Main (Hand Painted) J.M.V. - Limoges France. This darling pill box with pink roses was available at my Zen Cart powered on line boutique: Mariette's Back to Basics. Best is you have a look at these finely crafted details...

Christie's sold on 28 October, 2007 a group of five gilt-metal mounted porcelain boxes and pill boxes, seen here at CHRISTIE'S.

That will give you some idea about a certain value.
