{Our Blue Wisteria Blossoms}

By mid April our Blue Wisterias were filling the air with their sweet fragrance and they have climbed up the trees till the very top.

Don't you love those trusses of beautiful and highly fragrant flowers?

Cascading down a tree, you can see the water of the creek to the right and the road in the center...

Again the creek is visible to the right and also the road.

Another tree to the left is being filled with this rather invasive climber.

This is our bridge across the creek; one of 3.

{Our White Pansies & Indian Hawthorn}

Alongside our driveway, we do have Fiberglass Window Boxes hanging on the retainer wall. Those are filled with White Pansies and the blooming Indian Hawthorn next to the wall is filling in with white blossoms as well.

The Indian Hawthorn to the left, we got as a gift from our German 'sons', in July of 1995.

Once a pot plant, it over the years has really grown up!

White Pansies in our Fiberglass Window Boxes alongside the driveway's retainer wall.

The blossoms of the Indian Hawthorn are an early spring pollen and nectar provider for the bees.

{Our Admiral Semmes Confederate Series Azaleas}

Sharing with you our lovely Admiral Semmes, Confederate Series Azaleas, also called Rhododendron because of their larger size. Beautiful yellow flowers with a deeper yellow blotch.

These photos were taken on April 12, with sunshine...

They also are very fragrant; an added bonus!

Their flowers are rather large too. Love the sunlight enhancing their beauty... It was a cloudy day as you can see from the photo below.

No wonder that they earned a place in the Georgia Gold Medal Winners' circle in 2007!

There are quite a number of flowers attached together.

As many as 9 are fused together...

Stepping back a bit further. We got two shrubs, one we planted on February 02, 1998 after it arrived from Louisiana. The other one is home grown by husband Pieter. Hope you enjoyed these yellow beauties and below you can find more posts.
