Via German blogger friend Claudia from Nu-Nu's Garn-und Stofflabor I did obtain these lovely cotton Fleur de Lys print covers for the cushions in our Veranda.

When I did see this lovely Fleur de Lys fabric on Celia M. High Heeled Life & Resilientista's blog: Precious Blessings in Our Family, I started searching for it...
Dolcedreams did no longer have any of it in stock... so I went across the ocean for locating any of this 'Vive La France Fleur De Lis' in navy by Monaluna.
Sure enough Claudia from Nunu's Garn-und Stofflabor Die Fleur de Lis found some fabric in Europe and she created the pillows and a table runner as well. You just click on the link to her blog.
Thank you very much Claudia, you made it work!
She posted about it on November 25, but I got way behind with my surgery and all our water control projects and right after that, the trip to The Netherlands.
Never got to posting about it and when the days are so dark, photos are very hard to capture...
And YES, in yesterday's post you already did get to see a glimpse of them with those Bunnies posing for you.
Frankly, I call them always Fleur de Lys; guess I'm a Francophile that LOVES French Country Style!

Hello Mariette, Fleurs de Lys are a classic pattern. They are a favorite of my mother's, as they were for my grandmother, so I have lots of positive associations for them. Your pillow and chairs look great.

DeleteWe love those cushions very much and Claudia did such an excellent job.
The magnolias were just too early blooming and the frost got them. We have one other magnolia tree that had more luck as it was behind. But we got our last frost this week and now it is lovely. We've had tea on the balcony and in our gazebo and on the patio outside the Rose Suite. We love this time of the year.

DeleteOh our love seat and two armchairs do have such lovely Fleur de Lys design. Wish I could find that again but this set is bought in 1997 so I doubt if I ever would find that cotton-viscose fabric again.

DeleteJa, grappig dit heet een seniorenbankje met stoelen en we vonden het in 1997 bij Oisterwijk meubelen in Oisterwijk, Brabant. Het heette Oscar...
Ik was zo bij met deze Fleur de Lys stof voor de kussens.
Ja ja, we hebben er ook elk 1,500,000 mijlen voor in de lucht gehangen.
De laatste jaren, ná 2001 heb ik ze gekocht omdat we geen consultant werk meer doen internationaal. Wel nog t/m 2004 in Mexico maar dan vlogen we nooit met KLM. We kregen destijds en route naar Jakarta, Indonesië vaak een upgrade en zo schiet het dan lekker op.
Nu koop ik ze op Marktplaats.nl elke keer in oktober komt er een nieuw huisje uit en dan wacht ik enige maanden omdat ze té duur zijn in het begin. Heb nu ook # 94 dus van 2013. Het is leuk en het blauw is ons thema in de veranda.
Het is een pracht ruimte voor koffie en/of thee en om te zitten haken... of lezen!

So glad you are getting some sunshine and warmer temps. We got over our final frost on Thursday night. So now it is lovely and we are going out with our tray and tea for enjoying it in the gazebo, on the balcony and even on the pation in front of the Rose Suite. The good life has returned!

Those are our favorite charis, they are so comfortable as they are higher.
Oh, how behind I also got with our trip and so. But soon I look forward to regular life again. Catching up, also after the problem with our internet and no way to be able to visit any blogs or comment. Luckily a dear friend helped me out.
