{Superbells Yellow Calibrachoa}

A very lovely potting plant which we added to our patio is the Superbells Yellow Calibrachoa.
Have a look at this proven winner which can also be found at The Home Depot.
Better Homes and Gardens write it so well: Calibrachoa is like a tiny petunia on steroids. See link to article below post.
It produces ongoing lots of Superbells in Yellow...
There is a difference with photos taken in the shade versus sunshine but both make this cute plant look good.
Does any of you have one in yellow or in a different color?

  2. I love calibrachoa's they are so hardy and don't mind if they are kept on the dry side. I have a lavender, pink and white ones. I gave a friend a beautiful hanging basket of the yellow one for her birthday last summer. Do you find that they never seem to stop flowering.

  11. Dearest Mariette,
Your calibrachoa is so beautiful. I had a planter with a yellow and a yellow and white that got drowned when we had so much rain from the edge of a hurricane. Oddly, The pinks, purple and whites are thriving. Go figure!
Your house looks lovely in its summer garb.

    1. Dearest Suzi,
One can never tell why certain plants thrive or not. They are as different as humans are and some seem to be healthier and stronger. This yellow one is such a joy to watch in its planter. Thank you for your kind words, we enjoy our home and garden in summer; regardless the high humidity for the full two months...
      Hugs,
      Mariette

      Baci,
      Mariette

I see you too had much rain so far this season!
Hubby has over 1 hectare of lawn to mow around the 2 houses plus the all the 7 km of lanes to maintain with his tractor!
I really hope we manage to sell by the end of the year, it is getting very heavy...!!
I love your yoga frogs, they seem to fit well around your pots, they are really cute!!
I've just come back from a quick trip to the Atlantic coast with canadian birders ,blogger friends!

For sure you enjoyed the trip with Canadian birders together and we will get to see great shots.

  19. What a nice spot of "happy" on your terrace, Mariette. So cheerful and welcoming. I have plain old geraniums on my breezeway, but I might try your idea next year - something different. xo

It makes for a happy spot and we enjoy viewing it from our breakfast area.
We used to have geraniums in The Netherlands but only in the previous home we had them here in Georgia, not many here, only those Victorian rose geraniums.
