{PARENTS}

Beautifully hand painted antique French frame...

There are in the life of human beings those who are our parents, not by blood but by heart.

~

With gratitude for having had a Dear Mom who was both a Parent by Blood and by Heart!

      Yes, Mom surely was a blessing and she also nourished our spiritual needs in a caring way and lived by example. We just had a lovely dinner with friends; eight of us and healthy laughter together with delicious food.
      Hugs and happy weekend for both of you!

      Guess because I'm an immigrant, that even did bring Mom and me a lot more closer. Thinking of all the precious letters I still have from her, written over the years. Those are treasures!
      Special memories in many forms!

  9. This is such a beautiful message. It's wonderful to have parents both by blood and by heart. But to have by heart means a lot more. There are families only by blood and it's a sad thing. You and your mom are both so lucky to have had each other xoxo

      Thank you and yes, you might be quite right in resembling my Mom not only by looks. She was a very intelligent, gentle and kind woman that I will cherish having had for a Mom that long! Knowing that she's in heaven makes me feel so happy; no more worrying about her that she is having to sob during dialysis because she is feeling so lonely...
      Hugs,
