On the road to our dear friends, we pass by an impressive gate; that of the J BAR D Farm in Dublin, GA.
On July 31, I did stop to make these photos to share with my readers.
Stepping a bit back...
A view to the left over the vast farm area

Sometimes I think I was meant to live in a peaceful, rural place. Beautiful pictures, Mariette. Of course, I would miss my seat at the Metropolitan Opera in New York. Opera season starts for us this Saturday, Oct. 1st, with "Don Giovanni." What a wonderful way to start the season with Mozart.
ReplyDeleteCheers, my dear friend,

I was in the slowest internet connection I've had in so many in years..Melbourne!
ReplyDeleteDear Mariette San!
Happy days!
Michiko
Dearest Mariette; Wonderful photographs of the farm with great fence♪ And the great blue sky, the last photographs of hay bales with dramatic clouds on this summer sky is stunning ♡♡♡
ReplyDeleteSending Lots of Love and Hugs from Japan to my Dear Japanese friend in America, xoxo Miyako*
Nice open space with nothing to block the views. I'm glad that farms once were so big and that families have held on to the land. Otherwise, it would be parceled off and built up in no time at all.
ReplyDeleteThe gate is really impressive! Nice shots☺ Happy Monday ♥
