Always a happy sight when our Clematis lanuginosa 'Candida' shows its flowers!
Yes, they are HUGE as they can reach 9 inches or 22.8 cm in diameter.

It's so lovely - clematis is another of my favorite vining plants - I have one on my arbor fence and another at the mailbox. . . . not as beautiful as yours though!
ReplyDeleteDrove up to D.C. yesterday for the weekend - cloudy skies but rain held off thankfully. The traffic was absolutely horrendous and we think it may the be last time driving here - will take a train or fly from now on! We usually come up annually as it's where we lived, met and married so long ago. Has changed so much though and sometimes we can't find our favorite old places now hidden by skyscrapers.
