{He who knows, does not speak. He who speaks, does not know}

A great quote from a very wise man:

He who knows, does not speak. He who speaks, does not know. — Lao Tzu

Photo is from our Pearlbush buds...

One blogger friend I admire is Samtpfote FIONA as she always has the most precious quotes in a photo (Zitat im Bild)...

    1. Dearest Theresa,
      Oh, that bud was so lovely for this photo and unfortunately we could hardly make any photos due to so much rain at the wrong moments. But this was worthwhile.
      Lao Tzu left us with a lot of wisdom!
      Hugs,

    1. Beste Marianne,
      Ja, deze erg korte en meer dan 1500 jaar oude spreuk van Lao Tse is in het Nederlands: Zij die weten, spreken niet; zij die spreken, weten niet.
      Mogelijk is dit hetzelfde:
      What you don't see with your eyes, don't invent with your mouth. Yiddish Proverb

      Molto fa riflettere davvero; breve e al punto. Di sicuro hai questo Exochorda in Italia. Quello che vi mostro qui sono i boccioli dei fiori, non aperti come assomigliano perle. Spero che aveva un felice primo maggio.

      Thank you and indeed a great quote. The pearl bush bud is so special looking and unfortunately we could not photograph the blossoms because of heavy rain. Well, the weekend was quite hectic but I at least slept very tight last night and today we had a lovely lunch at an Italian restaurant with a 97 year old lady friend! Our guest did meet her also in 2008 at a dinner we had for Pieter's birthday.
      Sending you hugs and love from Georgia/USA.
