{Bird House from Wood Trail Scraps}

Husband Pieter did create a lovely Bird House, built from the Wood Trail Scraps.
Below this post you find a link with photos, where you can see him building the Wood Trail.

This is the result...
One more lovely home for our feathered friends!

    1. Dearest Theresa,
We got numerous bird houses and they're made of different materials.
Pretty is not important for the birds; as long as they find shelter!
      Hugs,

Thank you for sharing such a nice piece of inspiration. People today just buy kits to make different things including bird houses. You guys are amazing. Your husband must be a natural in creating things. A bird house from scraps of wood - - - -, this shows the value he has for wood itself and birds.

Dearest Mariette, Mother Nature's creatures are so blessed to visit your beautiful gardens ... and what a lovely bird house Pieter has built ..a safe little haven from the elements for a feathery friend. As always you inspire to make use of what is simply laying about and put our creative minds to work. Wishing you both a beautiful week. hugs and blessings Celia M. (HHL)

Our garden does indeed provide a lot of shelter by means of shrubs and trees and also bird houses that we hung all over. Squirrels often ruin them... so it is an ongoing job to repair or replace them.
Enjoy your week as well and sending you hugs and blessings.

Birds do need plenty of shrubs and trees in order to feel safe enough to build any nests, in trees or in bird houses.
Happy new week to you already.

  12. Lieve Mariette,

      Liefs,
      Mariette

  13. Hello Mariette, Although the birds might not care about the appearance of their house, I'm sure it makes a difference to human visitors to your yard. Pieter's handiwork has natural and rustic good looks that will certainly provide a universal appeal.

As long as those birdhouses do blend in with the natural environment, birds don't care about the looks of their houses. It always gives Pieter something to do on a rainy day and there always is need for more.
Kindest regards and thanks for your visit and comment!
