Not only for Halloween we got some old world style ornaments from D. Blümchen & Company, also for Christmas we have 8 Dresden Snowflake Rosettes from Germany. These luxury paper Dresden ornaments are still available, link you find below my post. Ornate golden die cut Christmas ornaments. Also a link for viewing some antique Dresden ornaments on ancient 1900s paper.
Made in Germany of beautiful die cut gold paper. Authentic Dresden Snowflake Rosettes.
D. Blümchen & Company sells them also in other colors but I opted for gold.
What would be your choice?
They look so rich and ornate...
They do measure 2 7/8" in diameter.
Don't they look gorgeous?
Still being made, like over one hundred years ago...
Hard to like one more than the other; they all are unique!
Who ever invented them?
Looks like golden rope is entwined...
They also look rich on green or red...
Bet that my German readers will have some of those...
D. Blümchen & Company claims it has: 'The Best of Christmas Past'®.
So true for finding such Old World Charm!
Are you using anything Victorian or Old World for Christmas?

Hi Mariette, What gorgeous snowflakes. They are so rich and detailed with each being different just like real snowflakes. No two alike. I have always loved these and have many crocheted snowflakes on my tree.
