Today I want to extend a big 'THANK YOU Readers' from all 171 Countries visiting my blog. To the loyal readers and to all those that once in a while stop by. On July 10, 2011 I did put the Flag Counter on and as of now there are 171 flags in just one year time.
On July 4, it was Lesotho that joined as Newest Country and becoming number 171.
Reaching out to the world in all its Continents is quite something for this time and age.
A quarter of a million pageviews have traveled the miles across cyber space...
Visitors from the southern hemisphere where there is mid-winter right now.
The northern hemisphere with summer to some degree. More so for some, than others.
Here in the South East it is WARM during summer, we are at the latitude of Morocco, so that does explain some.
On July 1st we had a HOT day, measured in Real Feel temperature.
The entire month of July and August will be hot here.
But we prefer heat above cold.
What is your favorite?
This was the Real Feal of 45°C (113°F) at 13:38 o'clock.
But even at 16:19 o'clock on the last day of June we reached 44°C (111.2°F)...
Are you in a HOT-SPOT too?
Wishing you a great summer and hope you stay safe of any wild fires or other natural disaster.
Once again, THANK YOU!
congrats, mariette!

I prefer fairly warm -- the 70's would be nice. Not cold, not too hot. We don't get that kinda of temperature often and won't have it again until sometime later this year. I'll have to look up Lesotha. Never heard of it. :) Hope your day is a good one. Tammy

It is so wonderful that you have so many readers across the world!!! It sure is unbelievable to hear visitors from 171 countries. Oh, your inspirational blog really deserves that and admire that☆☆☆
PS> It is no surprising that you know the Senso-ji Temple; but pretty amazed that you even grow the lantern plant in your garden(^_^)彡☆
Sending you lots of love and hugs from Japan, xoxo Miyako*
Compliment my dear for this fantastic target: you deserve it, without a doubt.
ReplyDeleteLove from me.
Congrats, Mariette!
ReplyDeleteI don't like heat. I can't do anything then. Sun and water get too boring too soon.
But I don't like cold winters either.
And wind, I hate wind. I'm annoying little dot in the universe. :)
Visits from 171 countries is really something! Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteWe are experiencing extremely hot temperatures this summer here in Chicago, Illinois. We've been setting records for the last few weeks. I tend to prefer the warmer weather but when the temps rise above 100 degrees, it is just too steamy.
I'm sure our country list will grow, as you have such a wonderful blog and beautiful spirit, Mariette!
Mariette it is really strange it is never meant to be poetry it just comes out like that perhaps that dreadful old saying may have a wee touch of truth 'I am a poet and don't know it'!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI wonder if in a 100 years someone will discover all these old posts and try to write a thesis on life in the 21st century!!!
I do love your comments. xx
It is no wonder that so many people from all over the world enjoy your writing, Mariette! Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteWe are having perfect weather here in Washington State after a long, cool spring. I am enjoying every minute, as Summer fades much too soon! xx
