{Daffodils Bunnies & Hearts}

Spring is such a lovely season with flowers blooming.
Don't you love having such a vase indoors with fragrant daffodils?
From our German 'son and daughter-in-law' we did receive some lovely Easter bunnies and hearts...
Erika always is giving her heart to us in a most caring way.
We were lucky that both of them with their two children did visit us in our Vacation Home Vakantiewoning Pardoes, while we stayed in The Netherlands for Mom's 90th Birthday and Mom & Dad's 65th Wedding Anniversary.
Yes, they drove up to us, all the way from the beautiful Eifel in Germany and gifted Mom & Dad with a beautiful handled willow basket, filled with edible goodies from their region.
Now I have turned a different fragrant white daffodil facing the camera...
Don't you like these double ones better than the single one in the first photo?
Those are the cutest little bunnies with the lace scarf buttoned around their neck.
Daffodils are inside a French Baccarat Crystal vase.

Very glossy Mr. & Mrs Bunny...
So glad they traveled well inside our suitcases.

Don't you love them too?

Those daffodils were such a welcome sign of spring trying hard to come through. We will have another spell of frost tomorrow night... But such lovely fragrant flowers bring joy indoors!

Fleur-de-Lys does have a special meaning indeed, for you living in Japan it is hard for knowing all the Royal emblems of Europe but this is so typical French and I've always loved it.

Sweet bunnies with lovely daffodils indeed! You will get to see our Fleur-de-Lys fabric in my next post; long overdue!
Oh, the trip was lovely as there was no winter at all in The Netherlands and it was great to see everyone even though if you are with 51 together there is not much time for visiting with all during a coffee/tee time, followed by a dinner... But most important was that Mom & Dad were so happy to be surrounded by their loved ones!
Hugs and lovely day to you (yours probably is winding down...).

From our German 'son and daughter-in-law' we indeed received these lovely Easter bunnies and hearts. Erika is very caring and giving, she literally gives her heart to others.
Indeed they did come long distance n order to gift Mom & Dad with the beautiful handled willow basket filled with gourmet food from their region.
Too bad that daffodils inside our Baccarat crystal vase never last that long, especially not when the airconditioning is still heating during nights with frost... Their petals are like paper, very frail and they dry out real fast.
Always such a joy to unpack our suitcases with beautiful gifts like this!
Hugs and admiration to you always.

So cute little bunnies. They will fit nicely for Easter.
I guess the flowers is typical for the Netherlands?
I remember the tulips and daffodils from our visit on Texel, so beautiful!
Hope you've got the money now. I added some coins for your bank fee.

Those bunnies are cute and yes, flower bulbs are typically Dutch! We however did search for only heirloom and highly fragrant varieties to plant on our property. We've planted early, mid and late blooming varieties as well but since the weather has been off so badly we can hardly tell... We were so glad for having at least some to fill our vase!
Thank you, I just did log in to our bank account and yes it is there. I got behind with Internet as we just did switch to DishNET via satelite for our High Speed Internet as the other one got 1,000 times disconnected over the last month. I lost so much while typing things and I had to copy each comment before hitting the publish button. Now I can just rely on the system which is great!
Oh, that miniature knitting I had to share with you; what a patience to knit that tiny... There are artistic people around and you are one of them too!
Happy weekend to both of you; we just had our last frost during the night. Feels great.
