In 2013 I already did post about our Double Orange Daylily or Hemerocallis that suddenly appeared in our garden.
A gift from a bird...?
Perfect for my Dutch Heritage, as a salute to The Kingdom of the House of Orange...
It is a stunner and beautifully double with ruffled edges.
Placed it in a round Baccarat crystal vase...
Love those stamens and the pollen already fell off...
Hope you enjoyed this happy color Daylily and thanks for your visit!

ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful Lily Mariette! Thank you so much for your sweet comments on my blog. I am sorry I did not reply any sooner, but as long as my daughters are enjoying their holiday, I try to spend less time behind the computer.

Hello Mariette,
ReplyDeleteWonderful flower, you did well to set it up alone, it deserves it!
Many thanks for your kind comments, as you can guess, I am not much at home, I still can't bare loneliness much unless it is in nature observing birds and fauna :)
Much love, keep weep well and take care!
