How MUCH one can become ONE in a Blissful Relationship...!
May 11, 2009 we both had our right thumb nail damaged from working in the yard together!
Split right in the center... Pieter's thumb is shown on the right.
Today we both received our Covid vaccine and on February 18, part II,
That's pretty unusual that you'd both get the same sort of injury to your thumbnail at the same time. Take care. Be well.
ReplyDeleteDearest Tammy,
DeleteYes, it was unusual but then not so much as we've don most things together.
Hugs,
Mariette
Sorry that you both damaged your thumb nails, but both right thumb nail and split in center...something that can happen when you are in a long happy marriage, I think :-)
ReplyDeleteIt’s great you got vaccine! Stay safe and well, Mariette. Happy weekend xo
Dearest Tamago,
DeleteWe both had to smile about the obvious fact and yes, it is true for being in a long and happy marriage!
We were glad to get the vaccin but not so glad the day after... it made us feel both so miserable and the muscle pain!
Hugs,
Mariette
Hello Mariette and Pieter, That is some coincidence, but on the other hand cracked fingernails can be painful. Isn't there something you can put on them to make them stronger or more flexible?
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on getting the first part of the Covid vaccine!
--Jim
Dearest Jim,
DeleteYes, it was some coincidence and I would not know of anything to put on for making them stronger...
Today we both feel better but yesterday was not a good day after the Moderna Covid vaccine as it caused severe muscle pain and overall feeling like a rag.
Hugs,
Mariette
Sono contenta che siete vaccinati tutti e due.Buona giornata, saluti.
ReplyDeleteCarissima Olga,
DeleteBeh, anche noi eravamo contenti ma non ci sentivamo bene il giorno dopo...
Abbracci,
Mariette
Dear Mariette - so pleased that you have both received the vaccine. It is now a week since we received ours. It is being rolled out here very quickly in order to get it into as many arms as possible.
ReplyDeleteDearest Rosemary,
DeleteWell, we both were pleased too for receiving it but yesterday, the day after, was awful. Hope not to live through this for the 2nd part!
Hugs,
Mariette
I like your header photo!
ReplyDeleteYou both have the same kind of nails, I guess, maybe prone to splitting in the same area? :-)
I'm impressed you've received your vaccines already, that's fantastic! Here in Canada the roll-out has been very slow, for various reasons, and I believe it will be much later in the year (summer/fall/even later) before I'm eligible. In the meantime, our lockdown continues and now we have a stay-at-home order too, here in Ontario, except for "essentials." :-/
Take care and stay well!
Dearest Kim,
DeleteThank you, our favorite winter thing, enjoying chocolate with coffee!
Yeah, doing the same work and eating the same food might make it turn out like that...!
We both are sure glad we got this vaccine part behind us, at least the 1st part of it. February 18 we get the 2nd dose of Moderna. Hope that will not make us feel as sick...
Hugs,
Mariette
Thumb’s Up on being vaccinated 💜 Happy Weekend!
ReplyDeleteDearest Helen,
DeleteYes, today we can again say thumbs up, yesterday we felt awful from the Moderna vaccine. Hope the 2nd part will not be the same!
Hugs,
Mariette
An inseparable marriage, even their nails get damaged in the same job. I would also like to be vaccinated already, but I will wait. Today, registration for people over 80 has just started. I will wait, unfortunately. My approach to life may change after vaccination. Greetings.
ReplyDeleteDearest Giga,
DeleteYes, the reactions to both of us looked identical and we had to smile about it. True that it is in many ways an inseparable marriage! Here we had a chance for all people above 65, over 2 days due to the alphabet, to get the vaccine. We're sure glad for having that part behind us and got quite surprised that we felt so awful the day after... Hope on February 18 that will not be as bad for the 2nd part!
Hugs,
Mariette
Congratulations! Are you feeling good?
ReplyDeleteDearest Anne,
DeleteWell, we were happy for having received our vaccine but not so the day after... Muscle pain and overall feeling like a rag! Hope the 2nd part on February 18 will go better.
Hugs,
Mariette
Abrazos,
Mariette
Ouch..............
ReplyDeleteDearest Jo-Anne,
DeleteYes, that was definitely an ouch!
Hugs,
Mariette
That's quite a coincidence Mariette 😉 How are you feeling after the vaccination? I think they will be doing more testing before they give them out here 💙
ReplyDeleteDearest Grace,
DeleteIt was quite a coincidence.
The vaccine Moderna felt good in receiving it but not so the day after... Muscle pain and feeling like a rag really. Today is far better and we certainly hope our 2nd part of Moderna on February 18 will not be a repeat.
Hugs,
Mariette
You are dedicated to your work.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
Dearest Victor,
DeleteTo each other and to our work.
Hugs,
Mariette
So glad you and your husband got your first Covid shot! My husband was able to get his, but I'm still waiting to hear from our hospital system. Can't wait for this whole mess to be over.
ReplyDeleteBlessings, Mariette!
Dearest Martha,
DeleteYes, both of us are very glad that we got that behind us and as you said, can't wait for this whole mess to be over with!
Hugs,
Mariette
