Rag & Bone Mari Leather Strappy Sandal for a STEAL

Well, when I saw this Rag & Bone Mari Leather Strappy Sandal at Neiman Marcus—my eyes popped when I looked at its price of $ 450.00
So, I saved them on my Pinterest board...
As I often do on a rainy day—search on the Internet for finding said Rag & Bone darling sandals...
YEP—found them and guess what?
Got them for ONLY 10% of original price for US $ 45.00!
They are so comfortable!
Adjustable straps.
Great support around ankles and a perfect block heel that I prefer.
Very easy on/off—due to the zipper in the back!
How cleverly designed.
My like new sandals came with the Rag & Bone card...
Rag & Bone
New York
These shoes are made by hand using the finest European materials. Due to the unique nature of the leather, some color and texture variations may occur. This is a natural characteristic of the skin which lends to its inherent beauty.
Quality Guaranteed.
Wearing them with my cotton/silk Marc Cain skirt and Escada twinset with bead embroidered roses on sleeves and top.
LOVE these and Pieter keeps reminding me—how well they support my ankles (which are very thin...).

Ja, dat zijn pracht sandalen en heel stevig om de enkels—een grote plus op onze leeftijd 😏

  6. Nice find. It does pay to be patient. Even though I live in hellish heat a good portion of the year, I never wear sandals anymore. Don't really like showing my feet and they just get dirty anyways because there's sand and dirt everywhere. :/

    1. Dearest Tammy,
      Yes, they truly were!
It is bad when there is constant sand and dirt... for that reason—I agree with you.

Yes, they were at 10% of the full price.
The ease of putting them on and off and also of walking in them is superior.

  8. H, Mariette and Pieter!
I have to confess that I didn't know that brand, but the sandals are BEAUTIFUL! And what a steal, indeed.
You look so girly and feminine in that outfit! Love it!
Have a blessed week and lots of hugs!

Even I have to confess that I'd never heard from this brand...
But the sandals make caught my eye and I'm glad that I was patient and searched for them on line. Sometimes people die and their entire estate gets sold off and to another person's luck.
Thank you for the compliment and sending you big hugs back,

      Yes, using your brains helps!
As an old Dutch saying goes: Those who are not strong must be smart.
That is equally true for those lacking a 'strong' wallet!
Found those at Poshmark and that is a fabulous high end resale place!

  10. When I saw the heel and the zipper I knew I would love to have a pair like this. Stylish and comfortable, well made. I know the original price is way out of my price zone. Would love something like this. Always learning from you Mariette and loving it. Happy week to you, hugs Betsy

Oh, that zipper and the height around the ankle makes all the difference.
The original price was way off—but at Poshmark you often find amazing steals!

If possible—that combi would be perfect indeed!
Poshmark is a true find and like I used to score before at Stylebug (Delaware) I got many steals that way. But Stylebug seems to be gone since 2019...
Well, I'm lucky for having accumulated plenty for the rest of my life and my size is still the same.
      Hugs,
      Mariette

      Lots of hugs!!!

    3. Paula, if you know where to look for such steals—you find them. Also on eBay I searched under New With Tag items... It worked for me all those years! Guess I'm genetically lucky for having maintained my same size since age 15...

  13. Those shoes are so cute, Mariette. And I like the heel - not too high. I can't believe the difference in price, and I'm glad you found a much less expensive pair. Your top with the embroidered roses is so cute. What a great find these shoes are.

It pays to search on line for certain things at e.g. Poshmark.
That top is a keeper too, sleeveless sweater with cardigan and perfect for the cooler season.
