Happy week for you as well.

Hello Mariette, You are so good at seeking out these rose-laden antiques that express your personality. Perhaps I will start noticing them more, now that you have pointed them out. In Chinese art, however, I believe there are very few roses, unless you count the family relationship of plum and cherry blossoms.
ReplyDelete--Jim
Dearest Jim,
DeleteThank you Jim, you are such an excellent writer with a very broad knowledge. You are right, Chinese art is quite different from any European Old World patterns. But both hold their own charm.
Wishing you a great week ahead.
Hugs,
Mariette
