SPRING ARRIVED

Each year it is quite a joy to see the Spring Blossoms!
Here I stand next to the azaleas that grow behind our gazebo.
Wearing my wool with rayon shorts from Escada's Apriori line with matching top.
Booties and belt I've found elsewhere and also my brown slouch socks.
These azaleas were in full bloom on March 9.
Hard to keep up with everything!
While working in the office, finally processing the long scanned photos from Pieter's family and adding names and info as Pieter recalls, Pieter brought me this fragrant nosegay of Bluebells...
March 21... WISH I could share the heavenly fragrance!
These pansies were putting on a show on March 23, looking so happy on our retainer wall alongside the driveway.
Our Somei Yoshino Cherry in bloom behind the pond.
Our Bletilla Striata Alba Orchid in bloom in a pot.
It is native to Japan and China, see post below.

Are you enjoying Spring Flowers?

    1. Cara Olga,
      Abbracci,

  4. Dearest Mariette,
Seeing all your lovely spring blooms makes me want spring to come here.
We got past our cold snap, now enjoying (enduring đŸ€) rain and wind.
Yesterday I saw that our vinca is staring to flower. Such sweet little spots of blue peeking out on a gray day.
    Enjoy the week end...........*s*

    1. Dearest Suzi,
Well it slowly will move to the north as well.
We lost our Japanese magnolia leaves to frost, another late cold snap and we sure got the rain and wind.
The vinca minor is indeed a daring bode of spring and it brings joy!
      Hugs,
      Mariette

I love to see you and those azaleas. Your flowers are shinning in the sun light.
In Japan, we have a new season, and the cherry blossoms are in full bloom.

Thank you and they are a true joy in every spring.
Did admire already some Japanese cherry blossoms on different blogs.
We got only one tree left and this was not its fullest blossom year.

  7. Was fĂŒr schöne Fotos von dir... wunderbar gestylt.

      Mariette

  10. How beautiful, Mariette. Nothing fills my heart like spring blossoms!

It's still cold here, though the grass is starting to turn green and a nearby garden centre has begun to set up their fencing and tables. It will be May and June before we have a lot of flowers, though.

    1. Dearest Kim,
It is each year a great joy to see those spring blossoms.
We just got back from a pleasant bike ride in shorts again with 26℃ but still somewhat windy.
Your grass is almost the entire year green, here is is a lot less, that's at least one advantage in the north!
But soon you will get to see spring flowers as well.
      Hugs,
      Mariette

      Mariette
