Each year it is quite a joy to see the Spring Blossoms!
Here I stand next to the azaleas that grow behind our gazebo.
Wearing my wool with rayon shorts from Escada's Apriori line with matching top.
Booties and belt I've found elsewhere and also my brown slouch socks.
These azaleas were in full bloom on March 9.
Hard to keep up with everything!
While working in the office, finally processing the long scanned photos from Pieter's family and adding names and info as Pieter recalls, Pieter brought me this fragrant nosegay of Bluebells...
March 21... WISH I could share the heavenly fragrance!
These pansies were putting on a show on March 23, looking so happy on our retainer wall alongside the driveway.
Our Somei Yoshino Cherry in bloom behind the pond.
Our Bletilla Striata Alba Orchid in bloom in a pot.
It is native to Japan and China, see post below.
Are you enjoying Spring Flowers?

Che fiori meravigliosi!Tu sei sempre bella e giovanile, complimenti Mariette.
ReplyDeleteCara Olga,
Abbracci,
Mariette
What lovely flowers. You really are both expert gardeners.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
Dearest Victor,
DeleteThank you and we both try to do our very best.
Hugs,
Mariette
Beautiful blooms. I like your shirt. You match your surroundings, especially in that first photo. Thanks for stopping by my corner of the world. Happy April.
ReplyDeleteDearest Tammy,
DeleteThank you and the knitted top I love to wear in the spring with the matching shorts.
So glad to have read another post of yours!
Hugs and happy April to you and yours,
Mariette
Dearest Mariette,
ReplyDeleteSeeing all your lovely spring blooms makes me want spring to come here.
We got past our cold snap, now enjoying (enduring đ€) rain and wind.
Yesterday I saw that our vinca is staring to flower. Such sweet little spots of blue peeking out on a gray day.
Enjoy the week end...........*s*
Dearest Suzi,
DeleteWell it slowly will move to the north as well.
We lost our Japanese magnolia leaves to frost, another late cold snap and we sure got the rain and wind.
The vinca minor is indeed a daring bode of spring and it brings joy!
Hugs,
Mariette
Dear Mariette.
ReplyDeleteI love to see you and those azaleas. Your flowers are shinning in the sun light.
In Japan, we have a new season, and the cherry blossoms are in full bloom.
Tomoko
Dearest Tomoko,
DeleteThank you and they are a true joy in every spring.
Did admire already some Japanese cherry blossoms on different blogs.
We got only one tree left and this was not its fullest blossom year.
Hugs,
Mariette
Lovely flowers;-)
ReplyDeleteDearest Anne,
DeleteSuch a happy sight to see color again after dreary winter...
Hugs,
Mariette
Was fĂŒr schöne Fotos von dir... wunderbar gestylt.
Mariette
AlegrĂĄn la vista y ademĂĄs eñl ambiente. La primavera siempre infunde mucha alegrĂa.

Querida AntĂłnia,
Delete¡La primavera infunde una alegrĂa largamente esperada!
Abrazos,
Mariette
How delightful! The colors .. the fashion!
ReplyDeleteDearest Helen,
DeleteThank you and we enjoy this show every year!
Hugs,
Mariette
How beautiful, Mariette. Nothing fills my heart like spring blossoms!
ReplyDeleteIt's still cold here, though the grass is starting to turn green and a nearby garden centre has begun to set up their fencing and tables. It will be May and June before we have a lot of flowers, though.
Dearest Kim,
DeleteIt is each year a great joy to see those spring blossoms.
We just got back from a pleasant bike ride in shorts again with 26℃ but still somewhat windy.
Your grass is almost the entire year green, here is is a lot less, that's at least one advantage in the north!
But soon you will get to see spring flowers as well.
Hugs,
Mariette
Very well, you're all in for the spring season.

Coisas de Feltro
Dearest Christina,
DeleteYes, we sure are ready for it!
Hugs,
Mariette
Mariette
Your cherry blossoms are lovely. I'm sure you have been taking care of the growth.
ReplyDeleteDearest RTC,
DeleteThank you and we used to have three of these Somei Yoshino Cherry trees and one Taiwanese Cherry tree but now only one is left.
Hugs,
Mariette
