On March 19, Blogger friend Martha Jane posted about some Trillium that showed up in their garden in her Spring! post ←click it.
In my comment I stated that birds eat seeds and then they 'poop'... We got lots of such bird gifts! ♻️
Really an Exotic looking—Bird Poop Gift!
Already for 6 years we see this exotic Clematis Josephine... see posts below.
Sitting in a small Baccarat crystal vase
And another Bird Poop Gift—Clematis Silver Moon a lilac beauty.
Our golden pansies look happy in our bay window boxes and make a nice contrast to the lilac.
Beautiful in the sunshine...
Do you have any Bird Poop Gifts?

Wow! Those are some beautiful gifts from the birds. Mine gave me corn which has yet to grow to maturity but I'm happy when anything that's green grows freely on my balconies -- so whatever wildflowers and weeds show up are allowed to stay. :)
ReplyDeleteDearest Tammy,
DeleteThose are exotic beauties indeed!
Yes, birds do carry lots of things around and your corn is special—even more for growing on a balcony.
Hugs,
Mariette
Che fiore meraviglioso.Buona giornata.
ReplyDeleteCara Olga,
DeleteSì, quelli sono due regali di uccelli esotici!

Zulke exotische gifts zijn welkom!

Hi Mariette! Amazing flowers!
ReplyDeleteDearest Anne,
DeleteYes, they are truly amazing once they bloom!
Hugs,
Mariette
My birds seem to leave us mostly weeds! We've been out there three days straight, weeding, pruning, raking last leaves out of the flower beds, putting down fertilizer and hydrangea 'blueing' stuff, then yesterday mulching and watering - OMG, talk about hurting!!!! I came in yesterday, showered and threw myself on the bed and took two arthritis Tylenol!!!! Then I got up and made a nice supper for the granddaughter who came over to discuss whether she might join us on our trip to England in October! Life goes on - just hope you feel much better soon too.
ReplyDeleteHugs to you and Peter - enjoy Easter and the lovely spring all around us.
Dearest Mary,
DeleteOh sure—the lion share here is also weeds! And if I would be able to be outside doing the weeding, I would do that too. Now I just get sore from my OT and PT treatments.
You are lucky for being able to take something to sooth it.
Happy Easter to you and Bob and yes, this is the BEST time of the year.
Hugs,
Mariette
Mooie cadeautjes dankzij de vogels. Fijne dag en lieve groet!
ReplyDeleteBeste Willy,

Mariette
I absolutely enjoyed seeing these lovely flowers of yours. When we lived farther out in the country and I had large flower beds and vegetable gardens I would often be blessed by the birds. But nothing as exotic as these. Lots of bird poop weeds too!
ReplyDeleteDearest Lynn,
DeleteYes, those weeds that arrive by wind or by bird, they are not much welcomed!
Glad you enjoyed these.
Hugs,
Mariette
Such delicate beauty of color and shape , displayed by the two flowers! Bird poop in certain cultures is a sign of good luck.
ReplyDeleteDearest Duta,
DeleteWell, the birds can be special messengers in a way.
Hugs,
Mariette
So perfect. Nature is wonderful.
ReplyDeletexoxo
Dearest Christina,
DeleteYes, it is the BEST way of natural recycling!

Mariette
